@Mar 22, 2011 Guest - That is true. And since practice makes perfect, our role is to cheer them and encourage them and maybe even "nag" them just to make sure they don't give up that easily.

In our experience with our kids, we sometimes had to force them to continue with the sport that they started even if they seem to lose interest and start complaining. Most of the time they start to enjoy it again as they get better in that sport.
